Had some issues peeling the liner off. Wrote and offered some suggestions. Had to ask as no email notification of shipment date.
Thanks for the detailed feedback, Richard — the liner can definitely be tricky on the first go, and we appreciate your recommendations on the tabs. We are looking at different solutions as ownership of our supplier recently changed and it seems the quality of the tab adhesive in this shipment is not as strong as it typically is. Your feedback is helping us work with them and we appreciate it. Sorry the shipment notification didn’t reach you — the system does send out an automated email once the UPS label has been printed that includes the tracking information. Unfortunately, it can sometimes land in a spam or promotions folder particularly with gmail. Thanks again for the time you took to share your experience.
I did three 72×31 patio doors. I have done smaller windows before. I found this size extremely difficult in that the solution on the window side dried fast and there were lots of bubbles and snakes I could not remove. The surface was totally clear before starting. Happy with the heat reduction. I would recommend that the material be pre-cut to width before the install starts. Having a large overlap on one side made alignment and adhesion challenging with a 72 inch panel.
