Our 2 Mil clear UV film is your choice when you are simply looking for UV protection for your windows and don’t want to change the look of the glass at all! Made from high-quality, multi-layered polyester material, this window film is durable and resilient, with good optical clarity.
The film has a pressure adhesive that is tacky to the touch and the rolls come with detailed instructions for installation, and tabs for liner removal.
Our 2 Mil Clear UV Window Film is designed to block harmful UV rays from entering your home, office, or commercial space and offers the following features:
Protect yourself and your belongings from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays. This safety window film blocks up to 99% of UV rays in the 300-380NM spectrum (window film standard), protecting you and your family from harmful UV rays.
While not technically a safety film, in the event of glass breakage, the 2 Mil Clear UV Window Film will hold the shattered pieces of glass together, preventing dangerous shards from scattering on the ground. This feature significantly reduces the risk of injuries caused by broken glass, ensuring the safety of your family, employees, or customers. The film’s ability to contain glass fragments makes it an invaluable addition to any space, especially in high-traffic areas or where children and pets are present.
This film offers some fade protection – but it’s important to note that fading is caused by several factors and UV rays make up only 40% of the cause of fading. Heat and visible light each contribute 25% to the cause of fading and since this film has no solar control properties – it does nothing to help against these factors.
