Storm doors can trap intense heat and UV rays between the glass and your entry door. Over time, that buildup can cause:
Our Storm Door Window Film Kits are designed to reduce that heat before it reaches your front door. Each kit includes a 36″ x 76″ piece our top-rated ComforTech™ Ceramic Series film – perfectly sized for standard-sized storm doors – or any single glass door.
Our Storm Door Window Film Kits are:
Choose from any of our five shades.
Our lightest offering. Looks almost invisible on the glass. Perfect for those who want UV blocking & some solar control.
Our most popular all-around film! Light enough to blend in, but with enough tint to provide solid solar control.
A medium shade film that balances stronger solar control with light transmission. Our lightest daytime privacy film.
A dark film for those that need to control heat gain or glare. Perfect for south-facing rooms and sunny climes. Offers daytime privacy.
Our darkest film offers the greatest daytime privacy and solar control for rooms and climates that demand it.

You can still film it! If you have two glass panels, it might be that our Double Hung Window Film kits are a better option. Our DH kits come with two pieces of 30″ x 36″ film (remember film can be oriented either way). So take a measurement of each piece of glass and see if that will work.
If not, you may be able to cut the Storm Door Kit piece of film in half so you have two pieces of 38″ x 36″ film.
If neither of those work, we also have a Custom Cut option available.
Yes! All of Concord Window Film are double pane (dual pane) glass safe up to 40 sq feet in size.
You can take a look at our How to Evaluate page to see if your windows are a good fit for film.
No. All of our film is manufactured to be installed on the inside of the glass.
We recommend you purchase our window film installation tool kit along with your film. The tool kit contains everything professionals would use to install the window film.
Using the wrong tools – especially during the squeegeeing phase of installation or the wrong installation solution – can lead to installation problems.
For example, having bubbles appear under the film after it has dried is a sign that it has not been properly squeegeed. You need the correct tool that is hard enough to press all the water and solution out from under the film without damaging the film itself.
And using anything other than slip-tack solution or baby shampoo in the installation solution can leave behind a residue under the film that will compromise the optical clarity of the film.
It’s also important that you use a clean spray bottle when mixing the installation solution. Any residue from past chemicals or detergents that were previously in the bottle can adversely affect the film and/or it’s adhesive.
You can purchase our Installation Tool Kit here.
We ship all of our film via UPS. Once an ordered has been packaged for shipment and the warehouse generates a UPS label for the package, you will receive an email with UPS tracking information.
Most UPS packages arrive between 2-5 days depending on where you live.
If you have any questions about your package, please contact us directly at support@windowfilm.com or 888-206-1413.
The short answer is yes, you can. We will always take back film that has been damaged in transport or has a manufacturing defect.
If you decide you don’t want the film for whatever reason we will accept returns of unopened, unused film only.
Because we want to ensure that everyone receives the best product, and due to the fragile nature of window film in general, we do not resell film that has been handled.

And if you have any questions – please reach out to us! Your satisfaction is our #1 priority!
Choosing the shade of window film that is best for you depends on your personal preferences.
In general, our ComforTech film is a solar control film – meant to reduce, heat, glare, UV and protect against fading. So all shades offer this – the level of reduction and fade protection you get increases the darker the shade you choose. You can see all of the performance specifications of our film here: https://windowfilm.com/technology/performance-specifications/
It is a matter of personal preference how dark you are willing to go, so we always recommend getting a sample kit prior to ordering film: https://windowfilm.com/window-film-sample-kit/
If you are specifically looking for daytime privacy – or daytime privacy + solar control – you’ll want to choose one of these three films: ComforTech 25, 15 or 05.
And as always, if you have any questions at all – please don’t hesitate to contact us – we are here to help!
The kit contains 5″ x 7″ samples of all five shades of our ComforTech Ceramic Series film, as well as a sample of our Matte White Privacy film and our Silver 15 Reflective film.
The kit costs $5 + postage, but there is a coupon code in the kit for $5 off your first film purchase.
